Bio
I love fitness, athletics, and team sports. I have been an athlete all of my life, beginning with swim team, gymnastics, and many other team sports. I finally found my true calling on the soccer field and played level 1 at UNC-Chapel Hill. After college, I played co-ed soccer, taught aerobics, hip-hop dance, and some personal training. I became a CrossFit instructor & athlete, Ironman Triathlete, and remain active in all areas of my life. I am a scuba instructor, spear-fisher, free-diver, and competitively shoot pistol & 3-gun matches.
Then one day a friend told me about Lynn's strongman show - which sounded like fun and a break from the strength training I had been doing for a long time. I immediately found the Strongman community to be extremely welcoming, fun, and challenging! Strongman encompasses all of the aspects of a team sport with individual competition. Lynn and the Train Strongman family have been instrumental in my development as a strongman athlete from novice, open, to Nationals!! All in 3 competitions! I look forward to seeing what I can accomplish in the future. I recently had surgery on my foot, but am recovering to come back faster & stronger!!!!!!
